FASHION FOR CHARITY

 

Good Morning sweet peas and sugahfoots. AROL is back again with another amazing Random Act of Love.... *see what i did there* lol ok.

A Random Act of Love is an organisation of young people who saw the need to reach out and help charities. They are very passionate about helping people, especially children. AROL have come together and identified a home based care centre in Soweto, Meadowlands that needs assistance with the programmes they run and their daily living – Bophelo Home Based Care. They have a need to make a difference in people’s lives and thus far they have made use of fun days and motivational workshops as their way of doing so. They are working together with Bophelo to help them raise funds for their daily operation and renovating their centre.

"We have identified that the home needs to be made accommodating for the children and elders that we help and we, as A Random Act of Love would like to help fix the home. We have identified electrical problems, plumbing issues, ceilings and walls need to be painted, certain renovations of rooms on the premises and an improvement of the current kitchen." says one of AROL members.

They made efforts to remedy some of these issues on the Mandela Day event with the assistance from the community and they would like to finish off the project.

 

On the 23February 2013 AROL will be having a fashion show for charity, which all proceeds will go to Bophelo Home Based Care.

Your support will be highly appreciated and will assist in renovations of the home.
