Bring Back Our Girls Night Vigil

Hello beautiful people. Today I have more serious news to share with you, something which is very close to our hearts. As most of you know there were a group of young girls who were kidnapped in Nigeria by a group called the Boko Haram. It is saddening to know that some men are capable of taking young defenseless girls captive.
We feel for the parents who are patiently waiting for their children to be freed and brought back home safely.

In the meantime, as Pop Sanity and with the assistance of some  friends, we want to do our bit and get our voices heard; heard by the right people in hope action will be taken. I can't say I know what the parents are going through because I am not a parent myself, however I am a daughter, sister, aunt and future mother. The thought of loosing a loved one or having them forcefully taken away from you due to political reasons can be daunting.

On the 30 May 2014, we are having a night vigil at Naval Hill, it will be an hour long from 17h00 pm-18h00 pm. Please do inform your friends and invite your family members too. The more individuals participate the better the chances of getting our voices heard. Please bring your own candles.
We may not be of assistance physically however the little bit we can do, goes along way.

" Real men do not kidnap kids"
Lets Make a difference

"Our Children are our greatest treasure.
They are our future.
Those that abuse them,
Tear at the fabric of our society and weaken our nation."

Sir Fauntleroy fashion Showcase 2013

For the love of men’s fashion, we are delighted to bring you an event worth attending. Find out the latest in men’s wear, what’s in and what is to come this Summer. Details after the jump.

Johannesburg, Gauteng- September 06, 2013- showcase to embrace local and upcoming designers and men’s wear.
“A well behaved man is a well dressed man” derived from the French term SIR FAUNTLEROY. This is not only fashion related; it however symbolizes how a gentleman carries himself.
A man is not defined by the clothes he wears but by the way he exudes his confidence and charisma through his clothes.
On 6th September 2013, Pop Sanity will be showcasing fashion for men’s wear. The event will be held at Sophiatown in Newtown, Johannesburg. Designers showcasing will include the likes of XO Royalty, Otiz Seflo, Sweet Ade, Ikitsi Fungee and Adohr JRD.
This is a platform for upcoming designers to showcase their talents and passion for fashion. A way of giving men’s wear the attention it rightfully deserves and providing men with more fashionable options at an affordable price and easy accessibility.
Pop Sanity would like to take this opportunity to also give back to the community, having worked with A Random Act of Love (AROL) before; we chose to use this opportunity to collect clothes, tinned food and toys for a charity home they have adopted. AROL is an NGO created by passionate individuals who just want to help those less fortunate.
The event is a 3-4 hour event. This is an opportunity for our guests to network and designers to sell their products and build clientele.
Pop Sanity would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their assistance in making this event possible. We acknowledge Remy Martin, Sofiatown, Pruth Magazine, Nu_vea and Red Bull for the their continuous commitment and support through this project.
Our main sponsor for the evening will be Remy martin. Remy Martin is a brand that represents elegance, style and stature. Hence our association with the brand will be well acquainted. Having worked with Remy Martin before it is guaranteed that the event will be a great success. Complementary drinks will be available on arrival, courtesy of yours truly Remy Martin.

"My vision for  BlanqCanvas, Is to empower women through my clothes, I want a woman to wear my creation effortlessly and must be comfortable, as they will spend their day in their outfit. My brand overall is inspired by the Japanese way of life, finding  your yin/ yang balance at all times.

No matter what she's feeling inside, on the outside its all about projecting confidence and a fantastic posture. I want her to find herself through my clothes, get her own style whilst in a blanqcanvas dress, I'm giving them tools to be able to dress themselves, it must be effortless but still looks like she was sown into it, making her feel opulent."

I Am Phenomenal Woman

Last night we attended a dinner in celebration of women. A first of many.
The event was held at President Hotel in Bloemfontein by Hamba Nathi Travel and Tourism.

I feel blessed and honored to have been surrounded by such beautiful beings, inside and out..... Business women, entertainers, motivational speakers and best of all Mothers!

Our program director was Kgopedi oa namane, beautiful, energetic, spirit filled and loving. These are just a few traits that describe the type of person she is.

I am grateful to not have passed this opportunity to be motivated and inspired by our speakers. I will not go into details about the event, however thank Mme Palesa Rantsoareng, a new mother I have found. Aus Kgopedi oa namane, an inspiration indeed to succeed, a woman who showed us that its ok to not be strong at times, as women we always try to put on a fisard that we are strong even though we may not be at times.

Lastly I would like to thank my mother, Mme Rosaline Sebolao. I am proud to call you my mother, mentor and friend. You have instilled so much knowledge and wisdom in us, I walk tall because of you and the opportunities you have given us to find ourselves, build our characters and create our own paths in life. For that we are grateful.

It give me great pleasure to honor my mothers and mentors while they still in existence. Without women where would we be? Thank you for your hard work, your love, wisdom and protection.
God has blessed you to be a blessing, and that you are.

Words of encouragement from Aus Kgopedi......
Love and Light to the women whos name is dragged through the mud just so you can feel good about yourself,
Love and Light to the woman who does not know what hardship is because they never experienced it,
Love and Light to the woman who has decided to stay true to herself and to walk in her truth, hard as it may be,
Love and Light to the woman who had an abortion and stil feels guilt till this day,
Love and Light to the young woman who has to be a mother to her siblings because her parents are not around anymore
Love and Light to you all women.

A piece to remember

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman
That's me.

Happy Woman's Month.
