Last night was a great night, not only did we have the chance to mingle and enjoy a night out with friends but we also got some insightful advice from none other than the beautiful and intelligent Azania Mosaka, and she did not come alone. We were surprised when we saw Quinton Masina aka Naked DJ walk through the door with her, and we were extremely excited.
Upclose and Personal with Azania. When I read this title I was a bit puzzled as to what the event was about. I asked Shaxe since he was one of the organizers and all he did was send me the poster, which simply meant all the details are there just read lol. Which I did but it still wasn't a perfectly clear picture, until he explained as the event started that, we always see Azania as the radio personality, MC, columnist etc. But we don't really know who she is and what else she does. So we got the chance to ask her questions about Love, Life, Work, Friends and Family etc.
PHD- Pulling Her Down Syndrome
I never knew what it was called until last night lol. Ladies not supporting their friends or sisters of their success but instead trying to pull them down because they are ahead or above you. It is not a race, only you are racing with yourself by being jealous, selfish and uncaring. We all achieve at different times and our achievements are not the same, stop wishing to be better than other people and simply support them, the same love and support you give, you will receive. As women we always have to support one another, its enough that men and women have to fight for their positions in the work place, let us as women support our sisters instead of contributing to the fight.
Having to deal with a break-up. Some ladies go through a lot after a break-up, and some become very bitter towards those in relationships, even marriages because they wish they were the ones married and living happily. There is a lot that goes into building a relationship and sustaining it, so we set goals for ourselves as couples but do we stick to them or are they goals that only one partner agreed on? The Naked DJ mentioned setting up a contract as a couple, which will for example stipulate that in 2years time we should get married, if the 2 years passes and the question has not been popped yet, demand and don't ask because it is what was agreed on. You reach a certain age where you don't just date for fun anymore, but to find a companion, so why be with someone that wants to mess around when you don't want to be in that position.
